Introducing.....

ALANNAH CAILEEN

Born November 26, 2008 at 5:11 am

5 pounds, 12 ounces and 19 inches long

She looks ALOT like her brothers, but with a bit more and darker hair

The boys came over to see her at the hospital and Caeden was so excited and proud - you can see it in his face. Colm was also excited and he just kept looking at her with a serious face. 

We just got home this evening, the boys spent the day with Gramps and Grammie and a large assortment of family in Cheyenne and they'll be home soon. Alannah is doing good, she is so tiny and sweet. I will post some more pictures this weekend but wanted to share some soon for those of you who live far away. 

today

It's a cold, cloudy morning, a little dusting of white, but not much - almost more frosty then snowy.  Wouldn't it be a nice day to sit by a fire holding a newborn baby? Yeah, I think so too. But Alannah seems perfectly content in her tight little warm belly spot still. Not sure how to convince her that this winter weather really is nicer! But, she will arrive eventually......... hopefully sooner then later .......... maybe the next post on here will be pictures of her! 

helping or hiding......

Caeden had fun with scissors the other evening while I was making dinner. He sat and cut on this paper bag for a good 45 minutes. He told me that the floor was getting messy but that he would sweep it up when he was finished. After awhile of sitting by him while he was working I went down the hall to change Colm's diaper real quick. When I returned he had started sweeping up, it was so cute I went and got the camera and took some pictures of "my helper".......

and then realized the REAL reason he was sweeping up as I took this picture....... can you see the missing spot of hair on the left side?  

I am beginning to think it is impossible to get a good picture of the two of them together...... unless you are going for the "looking off into space look".......... 

Knights in shining armor

We have some new additions to our "dress-up box" - the boys have been having fun playing Knights in these costumes, (found at 75% off Halloween clearance they were hard to pass up!)

37 weeks

Here are some 37 week "belly" pictures........ she's getting big in there though I am thrilled that I have only gained about half as much weight with her as I did with the boys' pregnancy's!
