See her little pink hair bow? Very first time wearing one! You can barely see the hair gathered up there - it's so fine and just long enough to gather up.

I had forgotten how well a 9 month old can "vacuum" the carpet! Can you see the grape stems in her hand?

9 months

Happy 9 months little girl!

Yep, the latest accomplishment this month is motion! Alannah is on the verge of crawling, she's so close, she gets herself going and then kinda just lunges to what she is reaching for. Then she can scoot a little or roll if she didn't make it. But she is oh so close to an actual crawl!

No teeth yet!

Still napping well and nights are hit and miss - I think she is teething :-)

She loves carrots and yogurt

Her latest babble is "Ba-ba-ba-ba" - she actually babbles quite a bit

She will sit and play on the floor for long periods of time as long as her brothers don't make her mad. She plays quite nicely all by herself.

(see that little foot into a pull up standing position? I have seem her several times getting into this position and thinking about pulling herself up - she just hasn't figured out how to actually do it!)

This is so typical of Alannah, she loves to have a paci in her mouth and in her hand and she almost always falls asleep holding a paci as well as sucking on one.

It took some good encouragement from his big brother, but with exception of a couple accidents and still wearing pull-ups at night (though they are dry 90% of the time, living without a washer and dryer makes me hesitant to chance that 10% yet!) -

I think we can say he is there!
