One

 Torin Pierce - 1 yr old

You are such a sweet boy, so cuddly and fun, full of personality. You have a great smile and and easy-going manner. You are starting to love to try and include yourself in the big kids playing, crawling after them, you go up the little 2 steps quite well, pull yourself standing and are just starting to walk along something you are holding onto. You are in 12/12-18 month size clothes and size 2 diapers. Your hair is pretty white blond like Colm and Tadhg. You are probably 17-18 pounds and I often get asked if you are tiny for your age, I don't think so, you have been measuring pretty similar to Caeden at this age. You say mama and da, and just started saying "wow", you can clap and play peek a boo. You love to eat, you eat pretty much whatever we do and almost always just feed yourself- life as a the 6th child you know doesn't leave much time for mama to spoon feed ;-). You are still nursing maybe 4-5 times through the day and maybe once at night. You love your taggie blankets.

2 years old

Ailish Sinead - 2 years 

you are all girl.....

you love your baby dolls...and anything can be your baby, and almost needs wrapped up in a blanket...you sleep with at least 2-3 every nap and night.....

you also sleep with a blanket, your water bottle and whatever else you deem needed ;-)

you are in a 2T, pretty much out of 24 month size, you love your slippers and boots.....

you talk well and in complete thoughts....

you are not interested in potty training yet, but love to take you diaper off, at bedtime if you take your jammies and diaper off then when I put them back on I put the sleeper on backwards. Every night when you get changed you tell me you want them on right and you won't take them off, however, they are almost always off within about 5 minutes and as I sit you down to put them back on, you tell me in a fatalistic tone "backwards now" and are perfectly content when they go on backwards. 

you are such a sweetheart, loved by all your siblings, you love taking care of Torin - in your own sweet way, you and Alannah are playing more and more together girly things.

When asked you are "mama's girl" and "da's darlin'"

3rd birthday

Tadhg Conor - 3 yrs old

 at 3 years old you are loving life and loving it loud.... you shared a carrot cake with Da for your birthday, the last one we celebrated in Colorado.....you are talking a mile a minute and about everything.....you have your opinion on everything and love to be included in whatever is happening. You play well with your brothers, as the boy between the girls, you play well with the girls too. You love helping Da with whatever he is doing and if asked you are "Da's buddy". You still out weigh Alannah by a good 5 pounds at least and you and her have about the same shoe size...... which also lends itself to you wearing whatever shoe is closest regardless of who it belongs too ;-). You are in at least a 3T clothes wise, often closer to a 4T. You potty trained this last spring and do great at it, accidents are rare! You love your jeans, wearing a belt and the shirt you are wearing above is one of your favorites. You still love your tigers and sleep with them. You are a little daredevil sometimes, thinking up things to do, or following after your big brothers, you will try just about anything. You love riding your trike around. The tools and trains are your favorite toys. You are such a sweet boy, full of hugs and kisses and cuddles. Love you lots!

First time swimming....before going in the water, he showed us-laying on the ground-how he would swim, kicking his feet and waving arms arms around while laying on his belly. When he got in the water, he waded for a moment and then kept walking in, the shore dropped down a bit a few feet in and he started "swimming" - just like he showed us! But he was rather unimpressed by being completely under the water and got out quickly and didn't venture too far in again that day. He did do rather well at his impromptu doggie paddle, swimming to Caeden though!
