Yesterday we were driving around town doing some errands and Caeden asked where we were going. I told him our little list and he asked if we could take coffee to Kieran.
(Now, Tuesday Kieran was working in town and we were out, so we stopped by with Starbucks for him, but the rest of this week he is working a job in Denver)
I replied, "Oh, we can't today, daddy is working too far away for us to take him coffee today", Caeden promptly responded, "we could get on an airplane and sit next to Auntie Em and go see him"
It made me smile, not sure if the Auntie Em was included as she was the last person he knows that went on a plane, so of course she would be there. Or if it was because the last time we went on airplane he didn't see Auntie Em for awhile and he did not want that to happen again!
Last night, the boys were in bed before Kieran got home and Caeden woke crying at 10:30. I went in and settled him and told him I was going back to bed. And he asked, "is daddy there too", I told him "yes, daddy is home and sleeping" - he said "oh, he's home from Atlanta"
Too cute the thought processes of a little one!
We celebrated Grandparent's Day last Sunday with having alot of the extended Fisk family over for dinner. We gave mom and dad a picture of the grandkids, it turned out pretty good - a lot easier then getting them all looking good at one time!
