Alannah kept saying "cheese" as I took the pictures- she was perfectly content to watch the lawn mower from my lap, but wasn't interested in getting any closer!

It's always hard to say good-bye to that last little piece of cake - I finally convinced him to go ahead and eat the "5" since we took a picture of it!

It's hard to believe you are 5 years old already! From such a sweet baby to a bright 5 year old.

You are constantly on the go

Almost always our first kid awake in the morning

Love to help make the coffee

Are quick to get the stool out to help in the kitchen

Love your brother and sister

So very inquisitive and talk and question everything around you

You are so much like Da, you love to help him, be around him- many times your response to something just makes me shake my head and say, "you are your father's son!"

When you grow up you want to be a carpenter and a fireman

You can count well

You can sound out many words

I think you are on the edge of reading well

You love to color and cut- and have gotten quite good at both over the last couple months

I have many little pictures saved and hung various places
