haircut

At just a couple weeks shy of his 3rd birthday, Tadhg got his first haircut. He looks so handsome.

View from the Beco ;-) He loves being carried and even when he is tired, cranky, pushing hungry, he will sit in here happy and let mama have both hands free to chase everyone else!

Independence Day

 No one was too interested in a group picture this year........ it took some coaxing and playing and convincing to get the couple decent ones I did. But you can at least say we tried and I have proof I really did attempt to get a cute one ;-)

And this would be great if Colm put his foot down and Ailish was still standing! 

8 months

Dear Torin,
I cannot believe you are 8 months old already! You are such a happy baby. Such an easy going personality. You are so loved by all of us. You are growing so quick and developing into your own little person.
At 8 months you weigh probably 14 1/2 pounds. About a month ago you were just a little above 14 pounds.
(For posterity sake, this last month all the kids had pertussis, whooping cough, coughs are pretty much gone now, and everyone recovered just fine. In my opinion, Colm and Tadhg probably has it the worst, Torin next, and the girls after that, Caeden had a very mild case. We only had lab confirmation on Colm, Ailish and Torin but there is no doubt in my mind everyone had it!)

You are sleeping good, 3 naps a day, almost always I can just swaddle you up and lay you down and you fall asleep. You are sleeping your "night" from about 8-9 at night till about 7-8 in the morning. You are still up a couple time in the period but honestly most night I can't tell you how many timse or what times I get up since I am still half asleep. I haven't "worked" on your sleeping hardly at all and for where we are right now, it's fine. I think you are a pretty good sleeper overall, we are all happy!

You are not eating solids yet, but you still love mama's milk and are growing strong and happy.
No teeth yet either ;-)
You are rolling front to back and sitting up. You love to sit in your saucer and watch the kids play. You will also sit by yourself and entertain yourself quite nicely.

You are in size 2 diapers, in 6/6-9/6-12 month clothes and size wise, you are almost exactly what Caeden was at this age. Of all the kids, I think you look the most like him too ;-)
