waiting for the doctor once they got changed into their hospital gowns
Alannah did wonderfully too, very happy and slept quite a bit but when she was awake she was good - we caught a smile here which are becoming more and more frequent
Colm, after surgery, he pretty much looked like this the rest of the day
After waking up, Caeden drank a whole cup of juice and 2 popsicles, then he threw up. :-) Then feeling much better he munched on graham crackers and ginger ale quite happily till we left
The boys being escorted to the car in an oversized wheelchair
Like I said, Colm pretty much looked like this all afternoon and evening!
The nurse told Caeden he needed to take it easy the rest of the day and do quiet things like watch movies and read books. Caeden got all the books off the shelf and piled them on the chair so he could read quietly. When I asked him why he didn't just sit on the floor by the shelf he said it was more comfortable up there.
I think he sat and read quietly for about 5 minutes!
The boys are both doing good today. Neither are complaining of pain, they napped well and are playing normally, with reminders from Mama and Auntie Em to be careful and play quiet. But neither seen to be affected by any pain or discomfort down below.

Oh poor babies, I'm sorry to hear they had to have surgery, I hope all is okay. Caeden looks like he did well though. I hope they are feeling better.
So glad that things went well. We were praying for them. How are you doing? Must be a handful to have two sick and one tiny. I'm still dreading a third child. I feel I can't keep up with the two I have. *sigh* :)
