6 months

Can you believe she is 6 months old already?!

Since we are in the middle of moving and I know "exactly" where the baby book is but it's too hard to get to, here's what she is doing at 6 months (just in case this winter, when I finally get around to it,  I am updating the baby books and want to remember that which I was sure I would never forget....!)

You don't have any teeth yet, but I don't think they are too far away
(this is the oldest I have had a baby with no teeth!)

You are nursing every 3-4 hours, getting more consistent at 4 hours
and we haven't started solids yet
(we told Caeden we would do it on his birthday!)

You aren't quite sitting up yet, but are getting close, same thing with rolling over!

You are (usually) taking a short morning and evening catnap and about a 1-2 hour AM and PM naps, PM naps coincide with the boys nap
(actually they just go down when you do, so I guess it's their naps that coincide with yours.....)

You have started a (rather annoying at times) girly squeal,
most often when you are playing by yourself or when you are getting tired and just want to go to sleep

You are getting good at reaching for, grabbing and playing with the toys on your saucer and mat

If it is in your hand, you can usually get your pacifier in all by yourself, turning it till it is in properly

You can grab and pick up toys off the desk or that we hand you

We just gave you a sippy cup for the first time this weekend. You caught on quickly how to get the water out and throughly enjoyed it and didn't want it to go away

You don't have much hair, but it seems to be at this point considerably darker then the boys were and maybe has a red tint to it

You are wearing 3-6 months or 6 month clothes - 3-6 in pants and undershirts, 6 months in one piece outfits and 6-9 month in dresses, short sleeve shirts you can get away in a 6 month size, long sleeve need 3-6 month still

Your brothers love and adore you to no end and so do your mama and da - we are so glad to have you in our family little precious princess!
