I took the kids to Target this morning - rather spur of the moment..... but I had a coupon that needed used and decided to see what we got. Alannah was not interested in having her picture taken AT ALL, the above one of the 3 of them was the only one we got that was decent. It was the first picture she took, I don't Alannah had yet realized what we were doing! And since I haven't picked Caeden's 5 year old picture yet I had her get some of him. (Which is why there are singles of Caeden and not Colm :-)) The one of the 2 boys turned out kinda cute though.

40 weeks

40 weeks........... and counting!

Finally got the hospital bags packed and list of things to get before leaving compiled. (Did anyone else find that list got shorter and shorter with each baby? Like as long as someone grabs the camera we could probably live without the rest anyway! That's the only thing I would be really upset if we didn't have.)

Carseat is out and cleaned, cradle is ready, sheets were found and washed, baby clothes out of storage, washed and folded-finally.

Meals are planned, mostly. Kids are taken care of. House is clean, for today anyway. I'm ready.

It's a bit of a challenge getting them in one picture that looks decent anyway. I am not sure I can find enough energy to try again!

Alannah

Just a few "silly" pictures of Alannah over the last couple days - she got those glasses on all by herself and I realized as she was eating how cute it looked. She's such a little doll these days!

Somehow I caught this one mid-step and it looks like she's dancing. I think she's just walking around, but it's cute anyway :-)

Curls

the little girl has curls.....

they are just too cute.....

still can't do much with her hair, the little barrettes don't last in long.....!

but I must say, I am glad my little girl got the curls...... it's amazing how much her hair has grown in just the last couple months.

Fourth of July

We spent the 4th of July in Palmer Lake this year. They had a tractor pull competition midday and we went to see all the tractors. Then they did a kids tractor pull and let all the kids drive and use a mini "weight pull" and the boys had a blast.

Somehow in packing lunch and long pants and sweatshirts for later I forgot the camera. Sorry for the poor pictures, but I did get a couple with my cell phone. With the sun shining though it was impossible to see what I was getting!

It was a beautiful day up there, I forgot how much cooler it tends to be then in the Springs! It was nice to enjoy being outside and not be so hot. It clouded up a couple times and then blew over. But the real thunderstorm showed up and rained for about 90 minutes before the fireworks. They still did them in the continuing rain. And we still enjoyed them from the back of the car. Neither of the boys remembered fireworks and had been asking about them so they were thrilled to see them.

The next morning Caeden told me he enjoyed watching the fireworks, but it would have been better if it wasn't raining. I told him I agreed and that maybe next year we wouldn't get rain!

We all had a nice and relaxing day though.

Alannah watching everything- I love how she just lounges back and relaxes. She was perfectly content in there most of the day.
